Lord Buddha give the 1st sermon พระพุทธเจ้าแสดงปฐมเทศนา
Asanha Bucha Day ( วันอาสาฬหบูชา : wān-āa-saǎn-hà bōo-chāa)
Asanha Bucha Day is one of Buddhism’s most important festivals. Normally it is on the full moon of the eighth Lunar month, Which is normally in July) This year 2016 is on 19th July.
It is the day that the Lord buddha (พระพุทธเจ้า: prà-púd-tà-jâo) give the first sermon (sermon =เทศนา : tèd-sà-naǎ) after his enlightenment (การตรัสรู้ : gāan-dtrús-sà-róo)
This day had the 1st monk in the world. (monk = พระสงฆ์ : prà-sǒng)

In the morning Buddhist will go to the temple to make merit( ทำบุญ: tām-būn) and the monk will gives sermon to buddhist.
Making merit are :
- Give food to the monk : ตักบาตร: dtàg-bàad
- donate money : บริจาคเงิน: bōr-rí-jàag ngėrn
- pray : สวดมนตร์ : sùad mōn
Ceremony of “wian-tian: เวียนเทียน”
In the Evening some Buddhist will go to temple for “เวียนเทียน: wiān-tiān ” which is they will hold the flower, 3 incences and 1 candle .Then they wall around the church 3 rounds in the direction of clockwise. And think about buddha and good things.
